INDIVIDUAL/TAILORED TRAINING

ONE-TO-ONE PERSONAL CONSULTATION

We recognise that each dog and family is unique and even though some behaviour actions are common amongst dogs, it is the individuality of the environment that the dog is living in that makes any issue personal.  To find the right solution that is tailored specifically to your needs it is often easier for us to come to your home to witness your dog in normal circumstances, or at one of our premises.  We offer honest, caring and practical solutions that you will find easy to implement, we look to cater any changes that may be required to cause as minimal disruption to your lifestyle.

IN-HOME TRAINING

We offer two types of in-home training options - we can train you to train your dog or we can come and train your dog for you (while you are out) with a lesson for you at the end of the package.

We focus mainly on basic training but may offer specialist training depending on what your requirements are.  For example, if your dog is chasing joggers or bicycles the scenarios will need to be set up or found in order for training to be effective.  As each dog’s learning ability is individual we will need to assess and discuss the training that you want in regard to the length of time it will take to train your dog, so package options are flexible.  Please feel free to discuss any training options that you have with one of our experienced trainers.

Basic training covers sit, down, come (recall), stay, greeting people nicely, walking nicely on a lead, and relaxing around distractions.

Some specialist training covers leave it, scent work, basic agility, retrieve – we are open to whatever your training requirements are so please feel free to contact one of the trainers to discuss options.

For dog-to-dog behaviour issues we recommend a One-to-One Personal Consultation as we need to assess the level of the issue, however once assessment is made the options to complete a class (such as the Good Manners and Focus Class), or Doggy Daycare training.

DOGGY DAYCARE TRAINING

We also offer basic and specialist training to our Doggy Daycare visitors.  We can train your dog while they are attending daycare with us, and give you a progress report for each session with tips on how to keep this training maintained.

Appointments for training must be made in advance when booking daycare so that we can arrange for a trainer to work with your dog.
